Most members sign up years in advance. Sometimes a family calls with days, or hours, to work with. This page says what we do in that situation and what it costs.
To proceed with a last-minute case, we require a fee of €5,000.
The first call is free. The fee is only due if you decide to go ahead, and it is deducted in full from the cryopreservation cost.
One conversation, no charge. We tell you whether the case is feasible, what the procedure involves, which documents and consents are needed, and what has to happen locally before we can send a team.
If you want us to proceed, we ask for €5,000. It pays for the contracts and consent forms, coordination, standby planning, and the transport arrangements to our facility in Switzerland.
The €5,000 is not an extra charge. It is deducted in full from the cryopreservation itself, which costs €200,000 for whole body or €75,000 for brain only.
A signed statement from a witness confirming the person's wish to be cryopreserved. In a last-minute case this often replaces a membership signed years in advance.
The cryopreservation contract for the case. It sets out the procedure, the chosen option and the full cost, with the case fee already deducted.
Pay the €5,000 case fee only after the first call, once we have confirmed the case is feasible and you want us to proceed. We start the same day.
