The first call is free. The fee is only due if you decide to go ahead, and it is deducted in full from the cryopreservation cost.
Call these numbers in urgent cases only: someone is in critical condition, nearing the end of life, or has recently died. Please do not use them for anything else.
If you cannot reach us on the numbers above, try these in order.
Standby means dispatching a cryopreservation team to a patient, or a potential patient, so that cooling and the first procedures can begin as soon as legally possible. Every hour of delay costs quality, which is why the call matters more than anything else you could do.
As early as you possibly can. The initial diagnosis of a terminal illness, a sudden worsening of a serious condition, or medical staff expressing concern are all reasons to call. Do not wait until the patient is close to legal death.
We would far rather take a call that turns out to be too early than one that comes too late.
