Setting up funding method

You’ve become a member, that´s great! Now the only thing left is to make sure the big amount (200,000€ for whole-body or 75,000€ for brain-only) is ready when it’s needed. Don’t worry, almost nobody pays that out of their pocket today. Here are the ways people actually do it, straight from Tomorrow.bio’s own options.

‍

1. Term-life insurance: the one most members choose

You take out a normal term-life policy (10, 20, or 30 years, or until age 65–80) and name Tomorrow Biostasis GmbH as the beneficiary for the exact amount.

If something happens, the insurance pays us directly, and everything is covered.

‍

2. Whole-life insurance

It never expires and builds small savings, but the monthly premiums are much higher than term insurance. Most people only pick this if they already want that kind of policy anyway.

‍

3. Discretionary trust: only in the UK

A proper UK trust that holds a life-insurance policy (or cash) and pays us when the time comes.

It’s tax-smart, flexible for the very long term, and the remaining money can grow so that, if revival ever happens, you have some pocket money waiting for you in the future.

‍

4. Pre-payment or direct payment: only in special cases

If your doctor has said there’s probably less than a year left, or if the situation is already very urgent, you or your family can simply pay us directly. We understand how tough that moment is, and we’ll do everything we can to make the process easy for everyone involved.

This is the only time we accept money up front instead of insurance or trust.

‍

5. Alternative funding method: everything else

Choose “Alternative” in the form, and we’ll jump on a call to see if it works. One thing we can’t accept: payment through a last will. The money from wills arrives too slowly and with too many risks, and we have to pay 120,000 € into the Patient Care Trust the moment a case starts.

‍

That’s really it!

Pick the method that feels easiest for you, and we’ll guide you the rest of the way! You can always book a call or write us an email if you have any questions in your mind HERE.
