Here is a fact that catches most people off guard: the part everyone dreads, the signing up, is the easy part. Step 1, create your account. You click "Sign up now" or "Become a member", enter your name and email, accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and you are in. There is a one-click option to sign up with Google if you prefer. Once the account exists, the rest can wait as long as you like.
Step 2, personal information. These are the details that will later populate your legal cryopreservation contract: first and last name, gender, preferred language, phone number, date of birth, and place of birth. Mundane, but load-bearing, because a contract is only as good as the identity it names.
Step 3, home address. Street, postal code, city, country. This is not bureaucracy for its own sake. It tells us where to send your welcome package, and it tells our standby teams where you are, which matters a great deal in the minutes after the heart stops that decide preservation quality. Step 4, whole-body or brain-only. You choose your preservation type: whole-body at around 200,000 EUR, covering the entire body and long-term storage in Switzerland, or brain-only, also called neuropreservation, at around 75,000 EUR. The only thing you actually pay today
Step 5 is membership, and this is the one place money changes hands now. Three plans:
- Monthly, around 50 EUR per month.
- Yearly, around 500 EUR per year, which saves roughly 100 EUR against monthly and is the most popular choice.
- Lifetime , a one-time 15,000 EUR, which is then credited against your cryopreservation cost, reducing a whole-body case to roughly 185,000 EUR.
You pay with any credit or debit card, or Apple and Google Pay. The instant payment clears you are officially a member, standby coverage starts immediately, and a welcome email arrives with your membership card, emergency-necklace instructions, and next steps. Step 6 is onboarding, the last screen. Here you choose your welcome-box details, sign the Biostasis Contract digitally, and decide whether to set up your funding method now or later. That is the end of the active work.
What happens once the payment clears
Three things follow, in this order. First, you get access to the Member Zone, where your contracts, emergency contacts, data, and news live. Second, within a few days a physical welcome package arrives by post: bracelet, emergency card, stickers, necklace, and contract papers, the tangible signals that tell a paramedic you are a member. Third, most people set up life insurance, or increase an existing policy, to fund the 200,000 EUR or 75,000 EUR; our team can help, as we have an insurance partner in Germany. A few practical notes worth keeping. You can pause or stop membership at any time, with no hidden penalties.
